I ordered this for myself after receiving the embossed sporran for my son. As this one is so nice, and my son may need 1 sporranto fulfill all his needs for now, I gave this one to him, and claimed the one originally intended for him. This sporran is very well made, and the metal chains and keepers on the tassels actually give it a more formal touch. The really nice thing about this sporran is you can temporarily remove the tassels (they are retained by rings on the inside of the chains) and have a olain brown sporran. SO it is really 2 in 1. Great purchase!

Really impressed with this. Been wearing it with my first kilt and in addition to just being a good sporran, I was impressed with the evidence that it was hand-crafted (i.e. the stitching, little easily-removed pencil-marks where you could tell someone was making sure they had everything centered, etc).
Great job!

I bought a pair of brown ghellies a few years ago and could never find a brown sporran to go with them. This took care of that! The chain was good and it looks good overall. I'd recommend it!

I was somewhat skeptical about ordering a leather sporran at this price. I was definitely pleasantly surprised when it came in the mail. The leather has the appeal of a hand made item with very nice stitching, and the option to easily remove the tassels make it nice for everyday wear as well.
