The buckles are more study than the ones on my USMC. I liked that a lot. Everything was top notch - love it.
Oh. One thing - if the velcro closure was reversed - hook on the inside with the spacing for the pocket and the latch on the outer flap (keeps from scratching the back of your hand when using the center hidden pocket).

I decided to go for a Jolly Roger since it looked to be a bit more "fun". This is my third Kilt from SportKilt, and the fit, finish, and quality is the best of the lot so far. The leather / buckle straps have been upgraded and the weave of the material is very, very nice.
Get the sewn down pleats, worth the extra few $.
Seamus and the crew ... I thank you, and look forward to more kilts in the future!

Sport Kilts have to be the best ever! They are casual and formal; I have used mine with my dress Fire Uniform and even used it as fund raiser. I will be riding in the Charity bike ride Pelotonia in Honor of my Late Wife Karen who died January 18th, 2011. I have received offers to wear my kilt to parties and dinner in exchange for donations to my ride. So it looks like it is a hit, will send pics of kilt on bike soon and my second order!!!

Jolley Roger Kilt worked!!!!!!, May 18, 2011

I ordered this kilt for my son.... He recently competed in The Savannah Scottish Games. Even though it was back ordered the sales staff assured me that they would have them in. It arrived 2 weeks prior and fit perfect. The kilt stood up to the games and the after party's awsome job I will be ordering many more kilts from you!!!!!
