Fantastic Kilt!, May 12, 2011
Reviewer: Scott A. Johnson of Austin, TX
As a professional horror writer, when I go to conventions, I have to make sure people remember me. This kilt is so comfortable that I don't mind wearing it out in public, and it fits so well that I ALWAYS get comments and people wanting to get pictures with the "kilt guy." It allows me to show off pride in my heritage as well as make a statement and be remembered. I own two of them, and love them.

Gunn Sport Kilt, Apr 12, 2011
Reviewer: Troy of Austin, TX
Well, the first one I ordered from Sport Kilt a year ago was better in my opinion. The cloth was softer, although that was a while ago and I haven't washed this new one yet, so that may change its texture. I also made the mistake of not asking for 2 extra inches on the entire length of the kilt when ordering both of them. I am quite tall and it looks a bit short on a guy my size, but that was my bad, not Sport Kilt's. I should've asked for it. The first kilt I ordered had a button on the inside panel to connect it to the edge of the mid panel, but on the new one there isn't one. I'll have to have that altered. Dunno if it's just a new design or if it was accidentally omitted. It would be awesome if there was another buckle and strap connection on the left side that held the inside and mid panels together instead of just a button. All in all, the tartan and the colors are beautiful and look like a more vibrant, modern shade of the Gunn tartan. On a personal note, I had to order a new one because I recently buried my dog Guigley with my old one. It was comfortable and I didn't want to get rid of it by any means, but I thought I would send him off with full colors. He was very important to me and I wanted him shrouded in my clan garb. Thank you again Sport Kilt for making some killer kilts!

I bought my Sport Kilt for running and Hashing. Works great! I run faster and jump higher! Okay, maybe not so much but it was easy to run in and very comfortable.

Sport Kilt rocks!!, Jun 19, 2010
Reviewer: Troy Wilson of Austin, TX
I am very pleased with my Gunn tartan Sport Kilt! I play in a band out on a lake and it's the perfect warm weather wear, especially on breezy days! I have a 13 oz. Gunn wool kilt from Scotland that is too hot to wear every night in a rock band in the dead of summer, but the Sport Kilt is durable, very comfortable, and looks just like my other one, at a fraction of the weight and warmth and at a sixth of the cost. It sure beats wearing hot jeans! The only thing I'd change is to have buckle closures on the left side in addition to the right (like it is on my wool kilt) instead of the button closure. The buckle straps on the center panel would pass through the left panel at one's hip via stitched eyelets and could then be secured with buckles on the left panel. I'm worried that the thread on the button will not last that long, whereas buckles would stand up to lots of use. I'd still surely order another one in a heartbeat, though! Thank you again Sport Kilt!
