I purchased the Fraser sport kilt for Christmas for my son. We had gone to Scotland last May/June and I was able to get a kilt there but not a Fraser (our clan). My son really wanted a less formal kilt to wear out to bars (he says he gets a lot of attention from the girls when he walks in wearing a kilt). I had bought one for my playing in our band (Quaboag Highlanders) and loved it.
Short story is, he loved it, wore it out on New years (along with the excellent Flashes)!

My "Works" kilt, in Hunting Fraser, fit perfect and after another company screwed up my order, Seamus came to the rescue by custom making me a "military" length fly plaid. Sport Kilt will be hearing more from myself and some of my friends!

I was glad to have this kilt for the heavy games instead of my more expensive kilt. It was not only comfortable for the weather, but easy to clean after I was done throwing heavy weights all day long. I fit at the lower range of my size. So the kilt was a little too big and the next size down was a little too small. I took-in about 4-5 inches and I had a better fit. If the elastic was a bit stronger I might not have taken-in anything, but that was not the case. I still really like my kilt and would suggest others to at least concider buying from SportKilt.
