Ferguson Works Kilt!
There was a Fergus from Ireland, who is claimed, by medieval authorities, to have been the founder of Scotland's monarchy around the year 450 AD. A Prince Fergus is recorded to have ruled Galloway in 1165 and was Lord of Galloway and Allan, until they were annexed by Scotland in 1234. After that the Sons of Fergus were spread far and wide until the 18th century when they were once again reunited as a clan.
