History:  Started lifting weights in high school as a hobby.  Wanted to be big and strong!!!  I spent 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps where I continued with my weight training as best I could.  After coming back to civilian life I continued to train and started competing in Strongman in 1998.  I then started promoting Strongman Competitions in 1999.  Since then I have competed in numerous Strongman Competitions ,  did a few Powerlifting meets, and Highland Games.  I have promoted 6 successful Strongman competitions in Virginia.  I am currently the Virginia State Chairman for North American Strongman.  I am constantly on the go to competitions in my surrounding States to compete, help, or judge.  I have the most supportive fans in the world.  My lovely wife and daughter who keep me going strong.  I would like to invite everyone to give the sport of Strongman a try.  You will not find a more welcoming sport.  I am of Scottish descent and proudly wear my kilt “SPORT KILT” in and at Strongman competitions everywhere.

S. Patrick Rodgers is a Strongman Competitor and Competition promotor, and here's what he says about Sport Kilt:

Let me start by saying thanks for making your products affordable to us who enjoy wearing them.  I purchased my first Sport Kilt several years ago.  It was a MacLaren Tartan for my clan.  I recently purchased a Marine Corps Tartan for my branch of service.  I love them both.  I am a strongman competitor and competition promoter.  I am holding a Team Strongman competition on April 26 in Virginia.  Thanks again for an awesome durable product.

Let me tell you about the St. Pats day event that I attended.  I worked the American Strongman Corp. St. Pats Day Pro Strongman Competition in Columbia S.C.  Let me teel you about an awesome event.  Alot of weight was lifted, carried, pushed, and pulled.  Also alot of kilts were on display.  From Competitors and workers to the fans that were in attendence.  What an awesome weekend.  Sport Kilts were out in full force.

I have been trying for years to get strongman competitors into wearing kilts in contest.  I have succeeded in some.  I do know at my event there will be many kilts on the field.  I would now like to show the non kilt wearers what it is all about.
Thanks
